WHO WE AREIn 1990, NOW THIS! began delighting audiences of all ages and interests with totally improvised spoofs of every style from opera to folk ballads, Shakespeare to Soaps. Every scene, melody and lyric was created, on the spot, from audience suggestion. We soon added an interactive musical children’s theatre, team building and custom-scripted murder mysteries. NOW THIS! has been featured at such distinguished venues as the Marquee Lounge, the Smithsonian, the Kennedy Center, the Palm Springs Convention Center, the Grand Casino Hotel in Biloxi, MS and a few places we can only describe as ‘scary.’ Washingtonian Magazine calls us a “Great night out” and the Washington Post says “ If you can imagine it, NOW THIS! can sing about it.” We have won the DC chapter of the International Special Event Society’s ISES Award for Best Entertainment twice and the Esprit, the international version of that award. Our diverse troupe of actor/singer/writers includes Democrats, Republicans and Independents, hunters and vegetarians, spans two generations and collectively knows something about practically everything.
